This monthly email is full of fascinating writing, observations, and recommendations for music and books! Mike is a young writer using the mash-up of family names, "Jerome MacEvoy," because "Michael Connelly" was already taken by his uncle. His first novel, "Iconoclast" paints a detailed picture of a future society recovering from an alien invasion, and his second is a very different take on a society of vampires. Both kept me glued to the pages and wanting more at the end.
